Production hall doubled

Our new production hall is a fact! A 1000m² extension, doubling the existing surface area. At the same time, the existing building underwent a complete makeover. This also gives the company the professional look it deserves.

Frantsen bv is the reference in screw conveying transport. After 35 years, the company has grown into a niche player, highly specialised in all applications for bulk transport based on the Archimedes screw.

We design and build complete custom-made installations for transporting bulk goods in an industrial production process. In addition, we are a major manufacturer of screw shafts and screw flights.

Frantsen is thus active in various industrial sectors, such as waste incineration, biomass, recycling, fabrication of animal feed and fertilisers, the chemical industry, cement industries, ed...

At the end of 2017, Frantsen was acquired by the group around Juri De Groote and became a sister company of Entecom Systems in Leuven and Amesco in Kinrooi. Entecom specialises in the manufacture of chain conveyor systems. Amesco is the group's metal construction company. The takeover was part of a strategy of expansion and further specialisation. In the field of conveyor systems, this family-owned group is a total partner for the industry.

The acquisition became a success and since then, nice growth figures have been recorded in Landen. As a result, the need for additional production space had become high.

"We strongly believe in the future of this company and its employees. Despite Corona, we did not take our foot off the gas and pushed ahead with our expansion plans. Today, we are occupying 1000sq m of additional production space, doubling our area. This is needed to increase our productivity and accommodate our further expansion.
At the same time, we have given the existing building a complete makeover. This will also give the company the professional look it deserves. In the next phase, the offices will be completely renovated, but first priority to production!"
